Additionally, when students have access to high-tech computers from a young age, they can have a more enhanced learning experience. For example, in the past, looking up foreign language vocabulary in a dictionary was time-consuming, but with better computers, it can be done easily.
However, there may be good reasons why schools prefer to invest in teachers rather than upgrading computers, such as the teachers’ love and role as mentors. As for the first point, the connection between a teacher and a student is invaluable. If the teacher cares for the student, they will wholeheartedly offer support, guide the student effectively, and help them progress day by day. In terms of the latter, a teacher can serve as a life mentor. As teachers interact with their students, they can share their life experiences, which can benefit the students as they grow into adulthood. These personal stories cannot be provided by a computer.
