Some people argue that the spending money on improving public transportation is crucial; others, however believe that there are more concerns being important than this problem such as cost or the environment. This essay will discuss both opinions and explain why I lean towards the latter.
On the one hand, there are 2 main reasons why people feel that public transportation should be upgraded. The first one is these days the demands of moving has rapidly increased. The public verhicles moving faster provides the convience of citizens such as advoiding of late working or studying because of traffic congestion. Another reason is boosting economic nation. Improving road infrastructure help trading become easier between large cities or in suburban areas that could be a stimulant for the developing the local economy. For example, in remote areas, it it has difficulty selling fresh products with high price such as vegetables due to the poor traffic condition.
On the other hand, I side with those who think that we should consider more about the priorities. First, the cost of improving roads infrastructure is significantly high. The use of mordern machines serving for this assignements makes citizens have to charge higher taxation instead of investing in other important fildes such as education. Another thing is that the fossil fuels released from public verhicals has a negative impact on the environment. The huge amount of emissions makes a significant contribution to global warming and they find it hard to decrease the adverse effects of this. For example, in Ha Noi, Vietnam, there is a well-known railway called Cat Linh- Ha Dong had ben built for 10 years that negatively impact on the atmostphere around there because of the fume released.
In conclusion, although some people say that the authority should primarily invest money in reconstructing public transporation, I am of the opinion that the priorities such as environment or cost is more essential to be considered.
