Band 4: Some believe that students should begin learning a language very early in school while others think these subjects should be taught later. (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

Some people believe that children should start learning a language early in school but some people think these subjects should be taught later. In this essay, I’m going to cite an argument on each side and my opinion on this matter.

First, some people think that students begin learning a difference language early is good. Nowadays, being biligual is extremely important and essential, because social is developed society where everyone has 2 languages, so learning a language early is really good for students and some school now that teach two in two language. Some school also needed their students have two language when they were studying in school. Children have 2 languages when they were young is advantage. learning early language help students don’t feel worry about a language when they are mature. learning early language also help students more confidence in developed society where everyone has 2 language. In addition, some children become adults can not learn a new language quickly so some people want their children leamed a language when they were small.

Second, someone think that students learning a new language should begin later is better. Although children can learn very quickly, they can not remember for a long time and they don’t understand the importance of a language. But adults already have enough awareness about learning a language that they will take it seriously, and adults will be able to remember it longer than children. So adults have more solid knowledge than children. Delaying language introduction allows students to build a stronger academic foundation, ensuring they learn the language effectively.

In conclude, I feel both of these opinions are very reasonable. Both offer different benefits in terms of learning a language early or late. Through this we also see the importance of learning languages no matter what age.
