Nowadays, online shopping is becoming more and more popular in our daily life, especially during the pandemic. In this essay, I will discuss both views whether the advantages of this trend overcome the disadvantages.
On the one hand, there are some drawbacks to online shopping. The first disadvantage is fake products. For example, when I buy an item on the app, I receive the fake product instead of the real one on the app and there is no refund for that. The second one is time-delivering. Many buyers spend their time waiting for the delivered product to arrive, but sometimes they have to wait for ages. As a result, this has led to impatient toward lots of customers in waiting.
However, on the other hand, this trend brings numerous benefits to customers and retailers. First, it is not necessary to go to the shop since we can stay at home and order items online. Second, along with shopping apps, there are various and high-quality products for consumers to buy at a cheap and reasonable price. Moreover, it is convenient to pay items through the bank rather than paying by cash; therefore, they don’t have to waste money. Finally, not only can you save up your time in buying online, but you will also feel safe when you order items.
In summary, although online shopping has some drawbacks, it brings more benefits to customers and retailers. I believe this kind of shopping will develop more in the near future
