In some countries, it is left to the elderly individuals to have an opportunity to work to any age they want. While this idea suggests some benefits, I believe the disadvantages of it are more.
Admittedly, work in old age offers some benefits. First things first, it can boost the economy of a country. If the government lets people work till whatever age, older than 60, they want, they can complete the empty spaces of their country’s finance, and to do that, the main thing that helps that is their qualification. Secondly, as we know, older people come with a nice experience that helps to solve any complex situations in their work. If the government grasps their old employees as long as possible, they will not struggle with problems, to teach something or to fix their mistakes that they made, in their future career. additionally,
On the other hand, working in old age can lead people to death earlier than expected. As workers who are in their 60s or even older than that, still doing their work in their job, they can have health issues and might feel strange and hard on themselves day by day because of overworking. If people die earlier, that will be cause to decrease the percentage of people in a country.
The second negative of this idea is that youth can’t find jobs. As older men and women keep their job spot even in their pension times, young people are struggling with finding jobs that they want; even they can’t find such simple work, as well as it leads to an increase the number of people who are poor among youth, and it also can be a cause to limit the youth who are with a good talent or ability to some works that can help to jump their country’s scale among other countries.
In conclusion, however, allowing people to work even in their old ages has some benefits, such as increasing the economic side of a country and doing things in work by people who are coming with good experience; I believe the disadvantages of it, occurrence of early deaths and encumbering the youth to get a work, are greater.
