some nations apply law that when an adolescent become 18 then they are allowed to drive , drink and get married . on the other hand government of other countries allow that when age became 20 or more then it then young one are allow to take responsibility of family , car and allow to drink . I personally think proper age of being adult is more then 20. in this essay i am going to explain the reason of my prospective.
firstly, although some assume that 18 year old have reach to maturity, research show that adolescents need to extend early 20s. At 18 year old’s mind is not fully mature morever they are not fully able to take responsibilities as they are young adult on their way to explore world and learn new things. Many states like US show that many of drunk driving accident occur age 18-20 year old.
secondly, At the age of 18 most of young one are still in high school . At this stage the are not ready to take challenges which are being taken by adult like raising family and support themselves. At that age most of candidates do not have any career and job so they can not manage their own expense .Some 18-year-olds simply lack these characteristics and need further time to develop them. It is quite clear that when children turn to 21 years old, they have already been in colleges and have had some life experiences, therefore, they understand how to responsible for their actions
in conclusion, The legal age of adolescents have to be 20s as they are more experience then 18 year old and capable of taking responsibilities .
