In the recent days, political news is gaining more attention from the citizens. While it plays an important role in social lives, whether the amount of time dedicated to this problem should be reconsider or not is still in debate. This essay will address both views and argue in favour of the country.
First and foremost, people tend to pay less attention to politics due to the bustle of life. In other words , the burden of financial situation or the fast pace of life is the rationale for the lack of interest in political issues. Futhermore, in some countries, like the United States, the government systems are overcomplicated for citizens to understand throughly. As a result, people fail to adopt political information and concentrate more on their lives.
On the other hand, democratic countries, such as Vietnam or Cuba, own a governmental system that is directly affected by citizens. Therefore, political situation is given more interest in these nations. Another prominent examples are nations that are constantly put under war. For instance, Isarel or Ukraine is currently facing national conflict, whose citizens lives are in danger. Thus, political status is viewed everday as it contributes directly to people’s safety.
Finally, I believe that the attention dedicated to the issue should depend on the peaceful status of the country. The more complex political status a country has, the more likely citizens show interest in politics. For example, Switzerland has a stable and high annual revenue so politics in this country is less serious.
In conclusion, although it is important to focus on political views, no rule can be set for the time people spend on politics.
