It is often argued that youngsters ought to do study-based exercises such as discussion clubs, art and craft projects while others believe that doing these activities children become under stressed as well. From my perspective, I never express agreement with educational activities give under pressure to children. Because I think these kinds of activities are really helpful to improve learning skills and give relaxation and help to relieve pressure that we took during learning other complicated subjects like math, biology and others.
First and foremost, proponents od this view claim that it is useful for every child to do activities that help to skill-development. This is because it is one essential thing to relieve stress and improve creativity. Moreover, after complicated tasks and lessons students feel really anxious and exhausted. However, if they do tasks like art, craft projects, go to club discussions or debates and do other beneficial activities, they can easily reduce anxiety, relieve stress and take some relaxation from these tasks. As a result, these activities enhance the children’s critical thinking and increase knowledge and skills. For example, some school children spend hours in forests learning science, math, and teamwork through nature exploration. In addition, they encourage their curiosity and observation skills. Therefore, it is useful thing to do children after long hours of study and difficult days.
On the other hand, opponents of this view are disagreeing the conduct these activities for children. Because, they think that it is not useful and just wasting valuable time. Moreover, academic tasks give under pressure for students. In other words, they may reduce free time for relaxation, hobbies, or socializing. As a result, these strict tasks give pressure for children and it may be discouraging their discipline and responsibility. For instance, spending hours on a science project leaves less time for sports. Thus, sometimes it might not help youngsters in some cases such as hard studying and it can be just time-consuming.
Overall, it can be seen that there are both positive and negative sides doing academic activities after our studying such as it encourages our creativity, critical thinking and improve or learning styles. Furthermore, sometimes it give under pressure and children lost their discipline and responsibility to do their school tasks.
