In recent times, it has become increasingly common, especially among young generations to use the internet with the aim of gaining knowledge. Some people believe that school curriculum ought to incorporate lessons which are related to hone students’ abilities such as interaction or interpersonal skills instead of teaching scientific subjects. While this trend might bring some positive consequences, I completely disagree with this viewpoint that children should continue to learn facts.
Admittedly, Internet can provide students with more information than schools. Firstly, there are a plenty of sites, apps or programs that enable youngsters to enhance their knowledge and also, assist with improving academic performance. As a result of such phenomenon parents are urged to think about effectiveness of school subjects which does not help to boost children’s skills, like enhancing communication abilities or striking up friendship with others. Therefore, it is believed by some individuals schools should focus on developing other skills.
On the other hand, there are some unreliable websites or online apps that can lead to slippery slope of negative repercussions when it comes to a child’s study. If children have curios to use Internet which is one of the easiest ways to getting information in order to access a new thing, they will stick to use on Internet, and it will lead them responsibility. When children are not taught at schools to subject, there will not be home task for them. Consequently, they will be lazy in terms of studying; posing some potential problems such as being unknowledgeable which will affect their future life. Thus, children ought to be attended schools to accumulate knowledge.
In conclusion, while children’s skills, like interaction and being able to find new friends may bring benefit, I personally believe lessons which are depend on this shouldn’t be taught at schools instead of school subjects.
