There is a debate over the ways to achieve success. While some people think that luck plays an essential role, I believe that hard work is more important, as everyone has their weak points – which must be improved – in their careers.
Some people rely on their luck and wait for the moment. They may frequently play the lottery, and it is possible to win a prize. For instance, someone in my neighborhood won a million dollars, while he did not make an effort to earn this money as others do. However, money that is gathered easily may not have its value and may be wasted.
This case might happen rarely, and to achieve success, people must make an effort, work on their weak points, set new targets, and reach them. If people work on themselves, they would be ideal, which is the key to success. Take Ronaldo, as an example; he did not have anything when he was a child. He had an interest in football and wanted to become a professional soccer player. He always trained in the stadiums and went toward his target. All challenges and his stamina led to him becoming a world-class player. Moreover, other jobs also have difficulties; without working through them, employees cannot achieve a higher position at their job.
In conclusion, people may trust in their luck, but not rely on it, as any field demands hard work.
