In my opinion, both viewpoints have their merits and which factors play the pivotal role depends on the industry, but without determination it could be impossible to achieve the goal.
In the twenty-first century the necessity to labor intensively in order to achieve success has developed to the cult of productivity and workaholism. Therefore, a significant number of efforts and hours must be spent to ensure a decent standard of living and achieve success. In spite of the fact that workplaces, required physical labors are less demanded in modern life, a lot of intellectual resources, motivation, and determination should be obtained to be successful and competitive. Thus, personal appearance and financial capital are not the driving force in many businesses.
However, apart from these crucial components, people suggest that outward appearance and money enhance your chances of prosperity. Probably, since there is a social media era, some group of people profit from focusing on personal appearance. Such industries as modeling, marketing, and television demand outstanding images and financial resources to be publicized. So, personal traits are eclipsed by impressive and inspirational image.
To sum up, there are various industries in the modern world, which are focused on different humanity’s resources, therefore, every employee has the opportunity to choose the appropriate niche to realize their potential. However, in my opinion, it is always necessary to be persistent about your project.
