Climate change and sustainability have become important topics around the world. Some people think every student should learn about them, while others believe these subjects are not necessary in schools. This essay will look at both sides and give my opinion.
On one side, many believe it is very important for students to learn about climate change. These students are the future leaders, and they need to understand the problems our planet is facing. Learning about the environment can help them develop good habits, like saving electricity, using less plastic, and recycling.
On the other side, some people think that not all students need to learn these topics. They believe that school should focus more on main subjects like math, science, and reading. In some places, there may not be enough time or resources to add extra topics.
In my view, even though students study many subjects, climate change and sustainability are important for everyone. Every person affects the environment in some way. So, students should at least learn the basics. This can be done by including these topics in subjects like science or geography, without adding too much pressure.
To sum up, while not everyone agrees, I believe that all students should learn about climate change and sustainability. It will help them make better choices and take care of the Earth in the future.
