I partially agree with the statement that government should not spend to develop art instead use that money for the development or deal with various crises in the country.
A famous saying,” Art gives picture to someone’s emotions and feelings”.Regulatory body should spend some moeny on art because it is the one of the best way to influence the youngsters towards painting and music and even this can serve as a source of income for many homes because everybody have different skill so not everybody can do best in studies or business.For instance Spendings on preserving art and music attracts many tourists such as Taj Mahal which contributes towards development and country finances.
On the other hand there are some other factors in the country where money needs to be invested especially in the infrastructure and employment. Job opportunity is one of the most demanding factor which will contribute to country’s development as we can get rid from the issues like poverty, robbery and thefts. More are the jobs in the region more will be the productive youth. For example Many developed countries like America, Canada have good infrastructure and variety of job opportunities which makes them stand differently in this world.
To conclude, We can say that spending money on art like painting and music helps in development but at some extent.
