Different people start their children’s school education at different ages. Some believe that children should stay at home until they are six or seven years old, while others think that children should begin their school education as early as possible. In this essay, I will share my opinion.
Many people argue that children start learning from home by observing their surroundings and their family. They believe that children should begin school when they reach the age of seven. They assert that starting school earlier can negatively impact children’s mental and physical health, causing slow development in areas such as height and muscle growth. They argue that children younger than six or seven are not yet capable of handling the stress associated with formal schooling due to their developing mental state.
On the other hand, some people believe that children should begin school as early as possible. They argue that early education helps children learn to complete tasks like homework, establish daily routines, and make friends. Starting their educational journey early can allow children to finish their academic education sooner, providing them with more time to observe and understand society after their schooling. Additionally, being in school early can help children develop good habits, such as returning home on time and following rules, which can last a lifetime.
In conclusion, I personally support the first viewpoint. I believe that when children start school early, they experience stress that can hinder their mental health and slow their overall development. Therefore, I advocate for keeping them at home until they are six or seven years old.
