In many countries, children are allowed to use their phones at schools and this permission cause many negative discussions in society. Some of them said that phones needed to be banned while others think that using phones at schools help their child a lot. In my opinion, I believe that there are also advantages and drawbacks of using mobile devices.
Now, I will talk about some good effects of using phones. First, children can use their phone as an effective support to study at schools. Teachers can make some games that allow students to play with their phones to review the lessons they already learned. In some special occasions, students can use their devices to scan the lesson instead of writing in their notebook. It helps them to save their time and revise the lessons quickly and more effectively than opening the book and read the words inside it.
However, here are some negative effects of students’ phone using habit. In some areas, many secondary pupils use their phones to record videos about school violence and share it online to their friends. They also take advantage of this allowance to play games during the lessons and it means they can’t concentrate on studying. It causes the midunderstanding for teachers and parents because they may thing that the students are learning very well, but the fact is different. Using phones also give an oppoturnity for students to cheat during exams, which is a problem receive many concerns from teachers and also society.
In conclusion, giving students an oppoturnity to use their phones at schools is a huge advance in teaching, but if the students misused the advantage of the devices, it may causes many problems, which is very hard to solve
