This composition will attempt in answering this question.
Firstly, human intelligence is heavily influeced by childhood upbringing. Focusing youth’s attention to education focused activities will help them succeed in school and tertiary studies. Additionally, introducing toddlers to topics such letters, numbers and colours does help in reducing the learning curve for the youngsters later when they enter preschool.
Moreover, stricting childrens’ focus on education leisure activities might not be the best approach. This is partly due to the fact that on societal level not everything can be taught by school, parents or digital media. Likewise, communicating effectively and effective soft skills are developed indirectly through social interactions. Accordingly, personal experiences is at the core of human existance. Therefore, allowing adolescents to enjoy their childhood would give them a better appreciation to life.
Lastly, education focused activities should be impleneted in a child’s life. However, time must be allocated for kids to enjoy life as they prefer. Childhood is brief and allowing adolescents to have fun is by far a greater option for grwoing up.
To conclude, although children’s upbringing might benefit from limiting the youngsters to educational only leisurely activities, it causes hinderance in developing a wide range of necessary life skills. Henceforth, it is best to combine both entertaining and fun activities in children’s life.
