It said that team sports and individual sports competitively do not have any places in the school curriculum. I strongly agree with that, mainly for tension reasons.
Tension among students is the first reason for my opinion. In every competitive that is held in schools, some students are bad loser and may blame themselves or others for mistakes or poor performances when they lose competition. For example, in football games when a goalkeeper cannot stop the ball going into the goal, their teammate may be upset. For this reason, they behave badly with each other and increase tension outside and inside of the school among spectators or students who played games.
Furthermore, a vast majority of school all around the world do not have highly equipment for competitive sports both team and individual because these school are public and governments do not consider budgets for providing equipment. For example, in football games referees do not have video player for review games. For this reason, they may judge wrongly. This way increase unfairness among students who play games. Consequently, it destroys sportsmanship.
Yet other people believe that competitive sports can sharpen student’s memory however their memory can be sharpened by healthy food such as fish and walnuts. Also, they can register for health club and play game without competition for boosting memories.
Overall, I strongly disagree with competitive sports in school curriculum for reasons such as increasing tension and destroying sportsmanship.
