Band 6+: Some people believe that eventually all jobs will be done by artificially intelligent robots. What is your opinion?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Many people are of the opinion that artificially intelligent robots are gaining popularity in replacing humans in workplaces. Though it will probably take place for menial jobs, it is highly unlikely for the ones that require human relations. This essay will discuss why some jobs will not be taken over by smart machines, still relying almost on humans.

The fact that some low-skilled jobs might be done by intelligent robots is almost inevitable. some companies would prefer robots over humans to get these jobs done since they are easy for machines. As a result, spending money for hiring humans looks illogical and ill-informed. Beside that the productivity also rise significantly because robots work twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week without being tired. In our country, Iran, for instance, in some factories quality-check lines are controlled by flawless robots using laser checkers rather than workers that get monthly salary and benefits. For these reasons, robots stand first for some employers when compared to human workers.

On the contrary, the are some jobs that are in dire need of human workers because robots are not capable of handling them. This is because they need human emotion and conscience. These jobs include psychology, education, medicine and so on that need human touch. It is quite impossible for robots to reach this level of understanding , for these professions need not only human contact but also they demand high as well as deep level of perception.

In conclusion, most people think that it is highly likely that robots will do most of the jobs in the future. In upcoming future, jobs demanding low-skilled labour will be done by intelligent robots, whereas sophisticated jobs will be in desperate need of skillful worker capable of doing specific jobs.
