Nowadays many people argue whether problems related to climate change will damage our planet to the point that humanity won’t be able to exist without constant danger. While it seems like there is no possible solution, I agree that finding a new planet might help humans to survive.
One of the main arguments is that people are naturally curious about the nature of space, so it leads to researches and eventuall scientific discoveries, that allow massive companies like “Nasa” explore ideas about traveling across our galaxy. One hundred years ago people couldn’t even imagine things like huge telescopes or space ships, but we already have these in usage, so something unimaginable nowadays doesn’t mean impossible. Therefore, we should not dismiss the possibility of discovering a new planet in next dew decades that has enough oxygen and water to sustain human life.
Another valid point is that the number of people living on the planet Earth rises every year and our planet physically cannot accomodate every person. Even though it is predicted that by year 2040 there will be around ten milliards of people, this statement causes a lot more concerns than environmental issues. Furthermore, hunger, lack of clean water, and absence of living conditions will obviously put humanity in danger. Considering this crucial factor, finding a new home for humans would play a vital role in terms of survival.
In conclusion, it is obvious that current environmental situation requires attention and effort, that will definitely help humans to sustain adequate Earth condition. On the other hand the idea of finding a new place that will possibly be a new home for future generations should not be forgotten or dismissed.
