Many individuals argue that teachers should only teach own literature to children instead of other’s syllabus. I complety agree with this notion, but i also believe that they professor should also teach some content for other’s literature.
First and foremost, teaching national literature is crucial to maintain value system for elder’s respect. Today’s generation must have deep undestanding of family system and they should be connected with the lessons of their ancestors. Secondly, it is important for clarity, students should know the logic and story behind every tradition and religious festival. For instance, many people do not know the actual message behind martyr of Hazran Imam Hussain. Although, the message behind their martyr is security of Islam but many individual just focus and read the story of that day regardless of knowing the cost of their lives.
Furthermore, having knowledge of own history in mother tongue will allow new generation to take inspritation from their heroes. They must know the heroes and villians of their nation. For example, Dr. Muhmmad Qader , a nuclear scientist of Pakitan. With his leadership Pakistan became 7th atomic power. Altougt his secrifices are irrefutable nub in pressure of super powers, mine militrary forces, house arrested him by imposing fake offenses.
Despite of that , teaching other’s literature is also appreciatable because it allows our nation to think out of box. They can also take inspiration from their heroes whether these are related to singing or portery. It will allow our people to compete with world by proving wht is going on in world.
To summarize, having deep knowledge of own cultural value is more important that other’s states. But, learing other’s literue will build confidence to competw with world
