Some contend that experts including doctors and engineers should be obliged to work in the nation where they finished their training while others argue that proficient workers should be allowed to work whenever opportunities arise. From my perspective, even though the freedom for skilled individuals to work globally acquires their knowledge and advances their remuneration, I believe that requiring those workers to work in countries where they concluded their training and education has numerous advantages.
Admittedly, the freedom for professionals to work in a nation where they are pursued can broaden their global knowledge and achieve financial well-being. Many experts frequently prefer a position abroad that aligns with their interests, enriches their understanding of global dynamics, and offers higher income compared to the same roles in their home country. Therefore, skilled individuals not only meet global needs but also enhance their value. However, this trend leads to a shortage of skilled employees in some countries, hiring foreign personnel at significantly higher costs. Consequently, encouraging experts to work globally only benefits individuals rather than their home country.
On the other hand, proficient workers should be obliged to work in the nation where they received their education and training can bolster various domestic industries. Retaining a skilled workforce can enhance service quality through the knowledge accumulated through their long-lasting training, which stimulates the development of local firms, life quality, and the financial standing of the country. In many countries, particularly Vietnam, after education and training courses, doctors have to serve in rural areas for a specific duration to assist individuals facing challenging circumstances. Additionally, many countries invest substantial resources in training and education, and since then, it is only equitable if experts contribute back to their home countries that furnish them with necessary resources.
In conclusion, although the advantages of the freedom for professionals to work globally include acquiring a comprehensive global dynamic understanding and achieving financial stability, I believe that skilled workers should be obliged to work in the country where they underwent their training due to a scarcity of experts and the potential to contribute development country.
