In today world, some peoples say that schools should teach more practical skills instead of just teaching theories. I am agree with this statement because learning practical skills is very important for jobs. But, I also think theory knowledge is also need for some careers.
First, many students finish school and not knowing how to do basic life skills. For example, they don’t know how to pay bills, cook foods or fix broken things in house. If schools teach more practical skills like this, students will be more prepared for real life. Another example is, many university graduates cannot find job because they only have theory knowledge but no experience. So, companys don’t want to hire them.
On the other hand, theory is also important in some fields. Like, doctors and engineers need to understand scientific principles before they do practical work. If they don’t have strong theory knowledge, they will make mistakes in their work. However, I think practical skills is still more useful for most of people.
In conclusion, I believe that schools should have more practical lessons because it help students be ready for future. But, theory should not be forget also because some job needs it. Schools should make balance between two types of learning.
