Schools play an important role in shaping the future of students by providing necessary knowledge and skills.Some people argue that schools should focus on teaching students academic subjects,while others think schools should spend more time teaching practical skills.Personally,i have balanced view for that statement.
On the one hand, academic subjects, like math, science, and literature, are essential for building knowledge. These subjects help students think critically, solve problems, and prepare for higher education or careers. For example, math is needed in jobs like engineering, finance, or technology, while science helps us understand the world around us,researching it.
On the other hand,practical skills such as financial literacy,communication,cooking or time management are also have the same main role.For instance,knowledges like managing money and communicating effectively can help students become more mature and independent.Schools also can teach some job-related skills,like coding or graphic design,which are useful in the future.
In conclusion,focusing on only one area -academic or practical can leave students unprepared for real-life challenges.So,in my opinion,schools should combine both,giving students that knowledge that definitely will be need in their future careers.
