These days, the public has been going on over whether students should start learning a language earlier in school or it should be taught later because it is not a necessary skill. My opinion tends to be the first statement since it is undoubtedly necessary for children to increase their language skills by learning it first. This essay will delve more into both sides of this problem.
On the one hand, learning a language by children either their first language or second language, is very important to be taught earlier by school or even since they were toddlers. It becomes very important to do because it is a daily skill that people need to increase and can be implemented by communicating among individuals. If children could not understand a language, they of course cannot make a conversation with the other children. School has served this subject earlier to children, maybe since first grade, children can also enjoy learning while playing to increase their social skills.
On the other hand, this is not a problem that needs to be solved quickly. Because children can master their own language without having to study in addition. Schools can serve this language subject later, maybe when students are in fifth grade, at that point, children will be able to understand the explanation more quickly since they are already mature enough. Furthermore, it is strongly encouraged since we live in a modernized era, therefore, children can use technology as their daily toys to improve their language skills so this subject in schools is not needed anymore.
To conclude, although there are many different perspectives among the individuals. I assert that schools should give their students a language subject since they were in first grade because children need to mastering one of social-skills such as communication.
