Global advancement of technology, including better access to mobile phones and cyberspace, allows people to relatively strengthen their bonds with regard to the distant location of their members. In my view, this approach reflects a positive opinion for two main reasons.
Firstly, the presence of technology enables long-distance communication with the help of signal connections created by electronic waves shared in the air. As these signals are broadly shared to various locations, several social interactions through social media can occur to share expressive messages, audio, or video directly to the targeted person. For instance, live phone calls are made to provide ease in keeping in touch with someone and thus, maintaining a relationship with each other. In fact, families are more likely to worry about their members, whether by simply asking their condition which has been separated for study or work obligations.
In addition, social media has created opportunities for people to build personal branding ands search for new friendships on a global scale. With high relativity to our own families, individuals can interact with friends or other relatives spread across different regions, expanding a wider community network. For example, platforms like Facebook or Instagram allow users to share their lives with distant relatives to develop deeper relationships than was possible in the pre-digital era. For this reason, families now can share moments with a wider social circle and embrace closer social connectivity.
To summarize, there is no doubt that technology gives positive outcomes in the field of communication. Not only does it provide the possibility to maintain relationships with others, but also seek new social environments remotely.
