There is an ongoing debate about whether academic subjects or practical skills. This essay will discuss both perspectives before presenting my own opinion.
From one perspective, universities should focus on an academic subjects is considered important for several reasons. Firstly it helps students to improve yourself in education. Because universities teach young people to theoretical information and knowledge about business life. Other benefits is students can learn a lot of things about real life experiences thanks to their friends and teachers. For example students go to university at young age. They learn theory about their jobs and real life thanks to group work. Other example is many teachers explain their business experiences. After that students learn both academic subject and life experiences. Therefore focus on academic subjects are very useful for young people.
On the other hand, practical skills also play a crucial role in business and real life. One key reason is that it enables people to real-life applications thanks to practical skills. Students learn theoretical knowledge but they need to learn application about their jobs when they will start to new job. Because of this, practical applications teach a lot things about business-life and students can learn much practical experience. In other words, practical skills are more important than academic subjects. For instance, when newly graduating students will start their new job, many companies want to business-life experiences. Because many managers believe that practical experiences are very important for the young people. As a result practical skills are more useful than academic subjects. From my perspective, practical skills are more beneficial because people learn real-life thanks to do practice and life experiences.
In conclusion, while both academic subjects and practical skills have their own advantages, I believe that practical skills are more important in the long run. Because people learn everything by doing practice and trying.
