In many societies when people become old, they probably fail to do their tasks as they are likely to be faced with some financially, physically and mentally challenges. In this situation some people think that the elderly should be taken care by the youngers. I agree with this claim.
To begin, in most cultures looking after the elderly of family is a highlighted ethic. It goes without saying that the old members of each family tend to fail to do their needs, because they maybe do not have a job or a pension, so they need to finical support by their children. In addition, they are likely to catch a disease, making them unable to do routine works. Moreover, loneliness as well as physical powerless are more likely make old people vulnerable to some mental and spiritual problems such as depression. Consequently, these side effect of becoming old maybe make the elderly people vulnerable to the worse problems some of which probably are irreparable, so this is a duty of the youth to curb this adverse effect by looking after of the elderly.
On the other hand, some people think that in our contemporary world most of the young people do not have enough time to devote the elderly. These people claim that we are living in such a hectic world, that we even are not able to perform our task. Most people often work more than ten hours a day to make their ends meet, and also there are numerous challenges in everyday life that preoccupy people. As a result, all of these, are the contributing factor to notice less the elderly. of course, these statements can be true some extent, however, the young people must know that when they were a child, their parents had dedicated themselves to their children despite having all this adversity during that time, so during the aged period the children can compensate those dedications.
To conclude, all people know that the modern lifestyle can make people fully engaged in their lives so as to they maybe do not adequate time to look after the old people of their families. However, taking care of the elderly is a highlighted moral duty that the young people must not ignore it.
