In today’s society, women’s role in arm forces is one of the heated topics. While, some public say that females should join country’s security institutions like men, others disagree with this. This essay will discuss both sides perspectives along with my personal stance on the topic.
It is felt by some folk that women should work in military as men because it will reduce men’s load. Many nations are less populated due to which they face shortfall of staff in such places, as a result male members do longer duties. This situation prevents them to keep balance work-life, as well as people will hesitate to join such departments. Therefore, if women start working as army or police personal, then men will face less work burden. For example, in Qatar, traffic police are only women, whilst men are only permit to join army. In addition, many nations cannot fulfill the required number of men, in that case they recruit people from external places, which is a huge loss for economy. consequently, if women join men in such places, it can fill the gap as well as saves country money.
On the hand, it is asserted that women should not work in law keeping agencies, as they are physically demanded profession. To explain, if one wants to become a police officers, then he/she have to pass long body fit trainings, and women are supposed to be unable to withstand that kind of hardships. For example, according to some news channel reports of my country, that numerous police women officers leave jobs due to difficult trainings. Besides this, most of the army personals spend times away from homes and sometimes they provide services in other nations, and if women join them, then they cannot look after families.
To sum up, both sides of the views hold merits. However, I personally feel that women should not work as law keepers because such jobs are mostly outdoors, and women need to take care of children, in the absence of them it would be tough. Had better, to accommodate women in such sectors where they can easily execute.
