Paying taxe is a routine in modern countries, and all people should be doing it. Many people believe that governments need to take a high percentage of salaries to repair or construct public services like roads and education buildings. In contrast, others have a different standpoint about paying high taxes and say it is a bad thing. In this essay, I will write about my point of view on these two subjects.
On the one hand, people think that if they are paying high taxes, they get high quality services. But in many countries, regimes take 32 to 45 percent of a person’s salary in a month and do not do anything about public transportation, repair old schools, and other things. In addition, they believe that heavily taxing the rich can help the poor. Furthermore, another thought about high taxes is that if the taxes are too low, the quality of services will decline, and eventually, the system will begin to break down. In this scenario, only the rich will be able to manage.
On the other hand, if a high percentage of income is taken for taxes, persons may lose motivation to work hard and may not do their tasks carefully. Additionally, they might start looking for strategies to avoid paying taxes. I believe that governments should plan fair laws for disbursing taxes if they want to ensure justice. For example, it is possible to get high duties from wealthy people and distribute this money in cities that have old, essential public services, such as public transportation, schools, hospitals, and other things in these areas. Ultimately, this equalization benefits everyone because if there is a wide gap between the rich and the poor, resentment will likely grow.
