As a coin has two sides, every person has their own thoughts and mindsets. So, everyone thinks differently regarding how to spend their leisure time. Some people argue that a person’s free time should be planned, which I will elaborate on in the following paragraph.
To begin with, a person should be free to choose whatever he likes to do in his free time, so he doesn’t have to plan anything beforehand. If he spends time planning what to do in his leisure time, then he may not be able to focus on work. For example, if a person thinks about weekend activities, then his work efficiency and thought process only revolve around weekends rather than focusing on actual work, which might affect his performance to some extent.
However, some people believe that if a person organizes his free time, then he can develop some hobbies which may help him earn some extra money. Furthermore, they believe that a person can allocate his free time in a more accurate way if he understands time management, which can help him in his professional career. For instance, from a very young age, children have lots of hobbies, but they are often unorganized. If parents help them to plan their activities, this can develop a sense in children to focus on one activity at a time.
In conclusion, I believe that planning activities in advance varies from person to person and may also depend on the environment in which they live. So, in my opinion, if a person wants to focus on their activities rather than on their profession, then they should plan ahead; if not, then they should not.
