There is an ongoing debate about what subjects in education are vital. While some argue that history holds significant importance because it helps students understand their cultural heritage and learn from past mistakes, other believe that in a world where technology advances rapidly and medicine continues to break new ground, pupil have to be educated Science and Technology more not to struggle to find work in the future. While both of these arguments seem to be rational in their own ways, I would agree with the letter group more because of some sound reason.
One of the reason why History is regarded as the most crucial subject is because it reminds people who learn it how their ancestors survived and developed over many thousands of years. When students read books in such topics they may start to feel what man-kind is capable of. This, in turn, helps them to gain confidence and the feeling of proudness. Ultimately, when individuals study history, some may seek to identify mistakes made by their ancestors in order to avoid repeating them.
Despite the advantages of learning History, I maintain that students should dedicate their time to study subjects that help them to flourish in the future, such as Technology and Science. As the rate of developing in these fields is being unpredictably rapid, it would be better allocation of invaluable time of students to acquire knowledge in this subjects more. For example, it’s being predicted by some scientists that in the years to come , there will be high demand for employees who have good computer skills.
In conclusion, while history undoubtedly offers valuable lessons and cultural insight, the growing importance of technology and science in our rapidly changing world cannot be overlooked. Students who focus on these subjects are more likely to thrive in the future, equipped with the skills necessary to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven job market. Therefore, a strong emphasis on science and technology education should be prioritized to ensure students are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
