It is often argued that the computer skills lesson should be present for elementary school students , even if it doesn’t appeal to you at all. I can completely agree with this opinion, it seems to me that students should know the basics of computers, because in the future we will use and explore computers much more often.
First of all, I think that primary school students must prepare for future work. The job market is evolving, with a growing emphasis on tech-savvy individuals. Early exposure to computer skills prepares students for a wide range of careers, many of which now require at least basic digital competencies. For example, In-demand specialties in the future will be: IT specialist, web designer etc. Old professions such as: waiter, barista, teacher may disappear. That’s why according to me, it’s more important to learn computer skills
Secondly, by adding this subject, kids will prepare for the digital age, where everything is going to be digital. By introducing computer skills at an early age, children are better prepared for the technology-driven society they will live and work in. For instance, nowadays, many students begin to get involved in robotics and programming. In the future they will find a nice job with a good salary. all of the above suggests that this subject has many more advantages than disadvantages.
In conclusion, Integrating computer skills into elementary education is essential for preparing students for a tech-centric future, ensuring they are ready for high-demand careers and a digital society.
