Some individuals believe that music is a good method to unite people of various cultures and ages together. This essay will discuss both of these opinions and provide my personal vision.
On the one hand, excessive exposure to foreign music has a negative impact for people, particularly for youngsters. Young people in their age might become additive to foreign culture that spreads by their composition: therefore, there is a risk that they will lose their own culture and traditions. To cite an example, the research that was conducted in the Social Relationship University in the United Kingdom revealed that 70% of youngsters in Scotland have shown no interest in national music. Moreover, there is doubt that music unites a people from all ages and cultures. A person is identical, and the song that one person loves may not be suitable for another, it all comes down to personal preference. To give an example, most songs aimed at the younger generation is inappropriate for adults.
On the other hand, nowadays foreign music has a wider impact across the world through the internet and brings people from different countries together. It is a well-known fact that music is not just a melody and rhymes, it is a language with the help of which singers distribute their motives to other nations. For example, the Beatles, the well-known band from the Great Britain, visited in more than 70 countries around the world and united billions of people. Furthermore, in some cases, folks treat the songs as a tool that elevates their enthusiasm and interests in traveling to this country and learning the local language. For instance, hundreds of thousands of people across the world visit the one country just to see and enjoy the by singing of performers.
To conclude my thoughts, I think that the music is a language by means of which the singers gather millions of listeners together. In addition, it is efficient method for encouraging people of all ages to travel to different countries and learn about their cultures.
