It is frequently debated whether an achievement of a contemporary city lies on a good public transport system or there are other essential factors. Personally, I believe that although it is very beneficial for those who do not possess a car, requirements such as decorations and buildings of a city play more pivotal role in terms of determining a developed town.
To begin with, having an efficient public transport system is undoubtedly helpful for citizens and cities. For example, it is an extremely suitable choice for those who do not have a vehicle, making it easier to get to work or somewhere else. Additionally, a bus: a type of a public transport, do not require a lot of money to travel around the city, approximately 0.5 or 1 dollar per person in average around the globe. However, I strongly believe that it does not reflect and illustrate the development of a city.
The two genuine requirements that do attract visitors from other nations and show how a city is advanced are decorations and beautiful constructions like skyscrapers. For instance, decorations, such as lamps, enormous screens with advertisement on buildings, and decorations themselves depict the beauty of a town, making it both attractive and modern simultaneously. The second necessity is buildings like skyscrapers that do the same function as the former ones, making the view more attractive.
To conclude, I would like to reiterate that even though a public transport system is necessary due to its affordable price that virtually anyone can pay, decorations and buildings notably contribute more to a city in order to make it more evolved as well as modern.
