This problem that if secondary school ohildern should study international news has been argued for a long time. Some people supports secondary people should learn about that other people debates they shouldn’t learn about that in my opinion . Secondary student should learn about that.
Nowadays,our society develop rapidly and the technology brings our society into a new staged named information style. That’s made every person who living in the world must learn something in the internet, and the international news is a good way. What else, learning international news can also open their mind and allow them to know what happened in the world. The students also can learn some knowledge about history or policy. Those are two very important subject in Chinese secondary school, also include in senior high school, so it’s necessary to learn about that.
But I can also understand those people who agree that secondary school students shouldn’t learn the international subject. The main reason I think it’s they think it’s necessary. They think secondary school students should focus on learning major subject like Chinese, math, also include my favourite subject English, so they need to pay attention on those things , not the international news. It’s waste time and another reason is secondary school people have not the judgement on many things in news such as Russia and Ucland conflict. So they many misunderstand the truth and say some bad words and do some bad things. So it’s too early for people to learn international news in secondary school. They need grow order.
But I still maintain my opinion that secondary school people should learn international news, just I said learning those can promote their knowledge in history and policy subjects. And the school teacher also can lead student to establish the true core value and how to consider the thing in different views. So they shouldn’t worry about that.
