Many people believe that students should receive homework every day, while others think that homework is not necessary. In my opinion, homework is useful for students, but it should be limited and related to what is taught in class.
On the one hand, daily homework can help students improve their understanding of subjects. Many students do not revise lessons by themselves after school. However, if teachers give homework regularly, students are encouraged to study again at home. This helps them remember important concepts and practise what they learned in class. Homework also increases students’ speed and accuracy in solving problems because regular practice builds confidence. Another advantage is that students can prepare for examinations slowly, step by step, instead of studying everything at the last moment.
On the other hand, some people feel that homework is unnecessary. They argue that students already spend many hours in school and should have time to relax, play, or spend time with family. In some cases, teachers give excessive or unrelated homework, which makes students lose interest in studies. If homework is too difficult or not connected to classroom teaching, it becomes stressful rather than helpful.
Overall, I believe that homework should be given every day because it supports learning and revision. Nevertheless, teachers should make sure that the amount of homework is reasonable and directly connected to the lessons taught in class. In this way, students can learn effectively without feeling too much pressure.
