Nowadays, it is becoming increasingly common for young people to enter the workforce at a younger age. However, I strongly disagree with the idea of forcing them to work.
Firstly, requiring teenagers to work without pay during their free time is unfair. They should have the freedom to spend their leisure time as they please. This is important for their well-being, as they need time to recharge after long school days in order to perform well academically. Additionally, working without pay can lead to a lack of respect for the job. This can result in poor performance and a negative attitude towards work. A suitable salary can serve as motivation for young people to work harder and contribute more to society.
Furthermore, forcing young people to do unpaid work for society may not be beneficial for either party. Firstly, it can create problems in the workplace. Teenagers are still in the process of studying and improving their academic performance, and may not have the necessary experience to handle work-related issues. This can expose them to situations and people they may not be ready for. Secondly, it goes against the principles of freedom and justice that society strives to uphold. Requiring young people to work without pay creates inequality and can lead to conflicts with their coworkers.
In conclusion, I believe that society should provide a fair salary for teenagers rather than forcing them to work without compensation. This will not only help them to value their current job, but also prepare them for future career choices.
