Nowadays, many people believe that students should teach children practical skills such as growing vegetables anв take care of animals. However, others think that students should spend time studying academic subjects like math and science. This essay will discuss both views before giving my opinion.
On the one hand, learning children’s practical skills such as growing vegetables anв take care of animals can be very useful for children. Firstly, students can improve life skills which can help them in the future. For example, they can understand where food comes from and how to be more responsible. Secondary, these activities can reduce stress and improve mental health because children spend more time outdoors and are away from screens. In addition, practical lessons are often more interesting and enjoyable for young learners.
On the other hand, many people believe schools should mainly focus on academic education. Subjects such as mathematics, languages and science are necessary for entering universities. Some parents think that practical activities spend more time and may reduce students’ academic performance. Furthermore, not every school has enough money to keep animals or create gardens.
In my opinion, schools should include both academic and practical subjects. Academic knowledge is more important, but children also need real-life skills to become independent and responsible adults.
In conclusion, although academic subjects are essential for future careers, practical activities like gardening and caring for animals can also provide valuable experiences for children. Therefore, I believe schools should balance both types of education.
