In the modern world, it is important where people live. In this regard, the question of where people live has been a long a topic of debate, with some arguing that urban areas are good place to live for having a myriad of opportunites, while others believe that living out of city is more important for health of people. I do, personally, support the former view, as people live better in cities than villages.
On the one hand, it is true that living in rural areas does not have a negative impact on people’s health. Because there are not any pressures and air pollution in the outside cities, which may result in various diseases related to breathing as well as stress. If people reside in suburban areas, they may have fresh air to breathe as well as not feel any pressures of the fast-paced lifestyle of cities. As a result, it might contribute to overall well-being of people. However, despite this benefit, villages are not a good option to live.
On the other hand, cities have a lot of opportunities, offering people good education, a great deal of jobs, and enough the healthcare system. For example, if a person who lives in a city, the person might have more the possibility to get a job, because he/she gets a quality education, fostering the possibility of him/her to obtain employment. Moreover, as long as people have well-paid jobs, they tend to focus on their health, increasing healthy people for society. This means that there can be a number of healthy and well-educated people in a country, consequently, the country can enhance its economic progress through these people.
In conclusion, although living in a suburb would have some benefits for peoples’ health, it would not be adequate in contemporary world. I believe that people have more chances if they dwell in a city.
