People hold different views about whether climate change will positively or negatively impact business. From my standpoint, although this change may exert adverse impacts on businesses, I do perceive that it will also create more new opportunities.
On the one hand, some people may argue that the production and business of companies are influenced by climate change. Firstly, agricultural products and services are considerably decreased when weather changes surprisingly. That is not to mention the other affections relating to road blockages, transportation delays in buying and selling. Consequently, the supply chains to domestic and international markets are severely disrupted, followed a sharply reduced revenue, or even a chance of bankruptcy in the long run.
On the other hand, I firmly believe that climate change will bring more benefits for businesses. First of all, there are a few companies that are lucrative by taking advantage of people’s awareness of environmental friendly programmes. In fact, more and more buyers tend to possess merchandise, contributing to protecting the ecosystem. In that way, the more consumers purchase green – items, the more benefits companies make. Besides, through marketing campaigns about how the company acts towards climate change and how their products and services are, they are likely to gain a better attraction with those who take consideration into environmental perception. From that, there will effectively encourage a potential demand for consumption.
In conclusion, although businesses may encounter some difficulties, I am convinced that if businesses effectively take advantage of the benefits that climate change brings, it will greatly contribute to the development of businesses.
