There is a growing trend where many people assume that risk-intensive activities namely skydiving and rock climbing are extremely hazardous sports should be prohibited entirely. Personally, I believe that the drawbacks of this phenomenon exists but I support the idea of performing thrill-seeking sports.
One compelling reason why people choose high-adrenaline sports is the opportunity it will provide improved self-assurance to people. That’s because extreme sports help individuals develop strong self-confidence, as completing challenging tasks makes them believe more in their abilities. Overcoming fear or difficulty also strengthens mental resilience, which is useful in daily life. This is exemplified by New Zealand where adventure tourism is very popular, and many activities like bungee jumping and skydiving are promoted because they help people overcome fear and build self-confidence. As a result, participating in extreme sports helps people improve physical fitness, overcome fear, develop self- confidence, and gain a sense of achievement.
On the other hand, it has a number of negative sides. First of all, If participants participate these kind of sports, they can suffer broken bones, head injures or long-term disabilities. This is because the danger is much higher than in normal sports. Take rock climbers as an example. Many mountain climbers in the Himalayas suffer broken bones or frostbite every year, even when guided by professionals. As a consequence, these serious injuries place long-term pressure on healthcare systems and force governments to spend large amounts of money on treatment and rehabilitation.
To sum up, although risk-taking physical activities allocate adrenaline-charged, however it can lead to serious injuries or death. Therefore government should be banned high-adrenaline sports
