Nowadays, there is an ongoing debate regarding whether success primarily depends on self-confidence or discipline and persistence. The proponents of one of these ideas regard self-belief as a key contributor to achieving success, and consider that self-awareness may help foster personal growth. However, opponents of this view reckon that discipline and consistency are a more suitable way to achieve success. In spite of the fact that self-confidence yields several distinct benefits, I strongly believe that personal qualities such as self-discipline may outweigh its advantages.
To begin with, it is undeniable that self-confidence provides numerous opportunities and benefits. Confidence may help foster personal charisma sense of self-assurance. Self-awareness may eventually ensure the authenticity of selections, thereby shielding them from haphazard downfalls. Additionally, self-assurance may heighten people’s personal status and strengthen their mental capacity. For instance, a Portuguese soccer player named Cristiano Ronaldo is considered a legend of sport due to his self-awareness, purposefulness and confidence.
Despite these benefits, I strongly believe that self-discipline and persistence must be prioritized. While self-assurance is insufficient on its own, self-discipline and persistence may eventually ensure long-term success. Consistency and discipline play an indispensable role in people’s careers. Moreover, discipline fosters a sense of self-assurance, thereby stimulating career growth. Additionally, persistence, whether it takes several weeks or numerous years, deepens people’s engagement on knowledge.
In conclusion, while self-confidence yields numerous distinct advantages, I strongly believe that persistence and discipline may outweigh these benefits. Persistence is a key contributor to achieving success, regardless of the time frame.
