In today’s world, the question of whether environmental improvement depends solely on individual efforts has sparked a significant debate. While individuals may lack access to substantial resources, they can still address environmental issues through consistent, small-scale actions.
To begin with, the phenomenon of the improvement of nature cannot be tackled by civilians due to numerous aspects.Firstly, it could be an uphill struggle to find voluntary citizens as not everyone desires to spend time or money on activities that do not provide immediate personal benefits. Moreover, there are some low-income families where basic needs take precedence over environmental concerns.Thirdly, environmental problems like deforestation, climate change and pollution require large-scale interventions that individuals cannot achieve alone.Consequently, this limits the effectiveness of relying merely on individuals to combat nature-related-issues.
Conversely, the problem could be addressed through collective efforts if individuals are willing to invest time and action. When people come together with determination and persistence, even small, consistent actions can lead to substantial progress.Furthermore, reducing the amount of litter thrown in public spaces and inventing and utilizing environmentally-friendly vehicles alleviate issues by promoting cleaner, healthier surroundings and reducing pollution. Finally, imposing relevant restrictions and punishing miscreants render individuals more sober, depleting the probability of messy streets. From my own perspective, this prevalent problem can be resolved in a quite straightforward way by raising public awareness.
The primary conclusion from this essay is that, although it is primarily the government’s responsibility to address environmental concerns, individuals can also play a significant role in resolving the issue.
