Some people believe that environmental problems should be solved globally, while others think that each country should deal with its own environmental issues. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
While it is sometimes thought that environmental issues must be solved globally, there are others who argue that every country with environmental problems should solve them on its own. In my opinion, an international solution is more effective. On the one hand, according to some, environmental problems should be solved globally because air and water pollution can move from one country to another. In other words, air and water pollution affect many countries at the same time. For example, polluted air or water can move across national borders. Therefore, countries must work together. Another reason is that countries can share technology, knowledge, and scientific research. This is because countries can learn from each other and find solutions faster for environmental problems.
On the other hand, it may be claimed that each country should deal with its own environmental issues. One reason is that every country faces different environmental problems. That is to say, countries face different problems because some have oceans, while others have forests. For instance, some governments in coastal countries can focus on problems, such as water pollution and deforestation. As a result, they can focus on their urgent problems. Another reason is that national action may be faster than waiting for an international agreement. This is because governments can introduce laws that suit their local needs.
To sum up, although people may have different views, I think that an international solution is more effective in solving environmental problems.
