Some individuals are of the opinion that an investment should be made to railway systems ; however, such financial attention should not be given to erecting roads.Personally, I partly agree with the statement based on some reasons that are provided in this essay.
To begin with, There are compelling rationales supposing that the government should spend their budget on extending railways. It is notable that trains are driven automatically or manually in separate lines with other vehicles, and they also have a consistent speed during the route to reduce energy consumption.Hence, it would be safer for passengers to utilize this transport due to the avoidance of traffic accidents with other modes of transportation. Moreover, environmental pollution has been a surging caveat that raise awareness among the public. Thus, many vehicle users are likely to use eco-friendly public transports so as to join hands in reducing the amount of carbon footprints released from the traffic, protecting mother nature.
On the other hand, the investment on roads are worthy to be concerned due to its significant benefits. Nowadays, overpopulation in urban areas have led to traffic congestion, causing frustration among residents. By investing in expanding roadways, there are more options of road to choose from, which alleviate traffic jam during rush hours in a particular line. This activity helps saving time for workers, resulting in efficiency in working hours, provoking economic growth.
In conclusion, although there are mixed opinions about the need to spend money for road and railway expansion, I hold the view that both 2 types of transportation play a crucial role and should be invested to tackle environmental issues and decline congestion.
