In the contemporary era, a huge number of individuals think that cause of law enforcement agencies work with guns in public areas, the level of violence has increased. Due to these arguments majority of people believe government shouldn’t give the guns to public safety authorities. However, another part of people think it will be better when government give firearms to security forces.
On the one hand, the main argument for the side of disagreement is, people who fall into this category think will happen violence situations whenever government stop the giving weapons to police officers. In contrast, if police forces carries guns openly, some enemies will want to rise the number of criminal activities to show their capabilities. As a result it will grow the level of violence in that society.
On the one other hand, allowing police officers to carry firearms can help them deal with dangerous criminals effectively. They can protect themselves and the public in emergency situations. Moreover, armed police can respond to dangerous situations quickly and protect innocent people from criminals.
In stark conclusion, both of the sides have strong ideas to stay on their categories. From my perspective, I strongly agree in that situation when government gives guns to professional law enforcement agencies and with a deal. They should take and use them in emergency situations only, without displaying guns to the general population.
