Choosing an ideal present for an adolescent can be difficult. While there are some reasons why people think money is the best kind of gift, I am convinced that alternative gifts would be more plausible.
On the one hand, I do concede that when given money, young individuals will decide on items that suitable for them because they can use that money freely match their personal interests. Moreover, one of the best ways to educate the young on how to manage their allowance wisely is to give them money. This helps teenagers appreciate the value of money and allows them to become more independent. For instance, youths who wish to purchase anything must learn how to budget their money, save and accept that they might not always be able to afford the items they desire.
On the other hand, we need to acknowledge that giving youth money carries a lot of risks as well. The justification is that youths may utilize the money for improper purposes, usually blowing it all on games and frivolous purchases. Even worse are engaging in societal sins, especially gambling. This has a significant effect on young people’s lives and futures in the future. Alternatively, realistic items like apparel, jewelry, or books have more implications for young people and leave a lasting impression with each recipient.
In conclusion, I concur with individuals who argue that intellectual or understanding presents are more favorable than monetary ones, even though many people think that financial gifts can boost independence and be well-liked.
