In addition, when houses share the same design, it will provide a sense of community and equality within a residential area. This is because a house often reflects the wealth and social status of its owner. If a house looks older and smaller than others, the people living there may feel inferior, less confident or underrate themselves when facing their neighbours.
On the other hand, I would argue that people should have the right to make their own decisions when it comes to building their own house. The first reason is that many people do not like the style of old buildings in their neighbourhood. Therefore, people need to live in a house that they feel comfortable in because it greatly affects their spirit. Second, the reason people should be free to choose the style of their house is because of building costs.
