It is considered by many that next day delivery is a valuable type of transportation, while others claim that such tendency can have a detrimental impact on the environment and should be abolihed. This essay will consider both perspectives and agree with the second assumption.
On the one hand, the tendency of receiving commodities on the next day after ordering is a perfect opportunity for workers to be employed. A considerable number of enterprises, which are well-known worldwide, possess couriers in order to supply their goods around the globe. Consequently, a daily delivery will keep drivers demanded and significant for market chains. Furthermore, this tendency is profitable for huge manufacturing companies which have special construction for storing orders. The absence of day-to-day delivery will lead to excessively filled accomodation, inevitably causing problems with finding goods and their transportation. As an illustration, two thousands of people did not receive their dresses in 2016 in Russia, after the company “Mamag” abolished daily transportation of orders.
On the other hand, a perpetual supply of goods around the globe can cause air and water contaminations. Many orders are transported using trucks, which produce a huge amount of greenhouse gases and carbon dioxide, leading to the damage of flora. Furthermore, sheeps are a valuable mean of transport for manufacturing enterprises; however, despite their reliability and convenience, the amount of wastes they release into the water has a harmful impact on marine fauna. For instance, 25% of endangered whales passed out in 2020, after five sheeps simontaniously were introduced into the water from the Netherlands to the Great Britain.
Having considered both viewpoins, despite employed demanded drivers and empty storages, this essay agrees that the next day delivery can significantly damage flora and disrupt marine life and should be stopped.
