There are different opinions that whether Olympic games connect all nations and they are exciting events. While others think that these games is not important for people and the money should spent other fields, I believe that this is best opportunity for making many other nation friends.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why many people support the ideas that attending Olympic games is very expansive and there are more important things than these games. Firstly, if Olympic games are organised in a particular country, economy and GDP of country can take a hit. Because, organising Olympic games is not easy and these games demand the biggest fund. For example, the biggest games are always conducted in rich and developed countries, such as, France, the USA and other developed countries. Secondly, more and more tourists visit these games and thereby they contaminate many places, throw many rubbish, because, there are not rules for them.
On the other hand, I believe that Olympic games are more useful for governments. The reason is that many tourists buy more and more things, even high cost. And by this, a particular country can take many advantages. Besides that many people can take plenty of information about country. Evidence for this is provided by the fact that people did not know about Republik of South Africa, however, now more and more people know many information about it, because World competition of Football was organised. It is also worth mentioning that many people can make different nation friends and exchange ideas. And by this, people’s minds are increased substantially.
In conclusion, although some people argue that Olympic games are waste of money, I think that this is big opportunity for merchandising country.
